Everything about Nigeria calamitous situation, be it banditry ravaging the country's Northern region, or the Boko Haram/ ISWAP insurgency, subjecting venerable communities in Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, etc to slavery in their ancestral homes is currently on hold.
The issue of kidnappings, for ransom, for cannibalism, or for dismemberment for parts selling, is perfectly and delibrately reserved for campaign purpose.
The high cost of living, the untameable monster of corruption, skyrocketing of consumer goods, joblessness of teaming youths and fresh graduates, epileptic electricity supply, deplorable roads, which will soon be exposed when the rain starts raining, have all been put on hold, and reserved for election campaign enticement.
Addressing the root course of youths involvement in money ritual, which have become the order of the day is currently tucked away in the cooler. Why because, it will serve as one of the key promises of a warming up presidential aspirant.

But they were there before, and are there right now, yet never did anything to put these problems in order. Old wine in new bottle: what would be expected if not waste of beliefs and trust in them.
A group of old minds who do not want to let go, or let young and fresh minds, who understands how things are done in this computer age to handle the affairs of the country. Men who had led Nigeria into debt slavery without thinking about what would become of the next generation if things are not done properly today.
Everyone in this country today is weeping for the mistake of 2015. But it's unfortunate that no lesson is learned, because if care is not taken, Nigerians are at the verge of repeating the mistake of 2015 again.
They said they had secret accord of power transfer, yet, the Nigerian masses have the final say. But the pain and reason Nigeria still remain a 4th world country, if not 5th, is because Nigeria has narrow minded people voting than the broad-minded during election times.
