Redwire has won a study contract for Design Reference Mission 3 of NASA's Mars Commercial Services program. The mission aims to support lower-cost, higher-frequency missions to Mars, with the company owning the spacecraft and selling imagery data products to NASA and other entities. Redwire's high-resolution imagery can support observational science investigations, landing site selection, hazard assessment, change detection, and monitoring of surface assets. The imaging payload uses the existing Redwire Argus platform, which has flight heritage and experience in deep space.
