6 secrets: how to make the perfect pizza!

Secret 1: Knead the dough right

You will need:

 

900 grams of flour

10 grams of yeast (fresh)

0,5 l of water

10 g vegetable oil (or olive oil)

20 grams of sea salt (fine grind)

Make sure that you knead the dough in a calm, warm environment and in a good mood. To make the dough airy, sift the flour through a sieve. In a bowl, dilute the yeast with cold water until it has dissolved. We add half of the flour and mix it well so that there are no lumps. Then add the rest of the flour and salt.

 

Secret 2: Add olive oil.

In the mixed mass, it is better to add olive oil, which gives elasticity. Knead everything thoroughly. Then from a bowl put the dough on the table and knead it until it will not fall from the hands.

 

Secret 3: Roll out the dough with your hands

We divide the dough into several parts and leave it to rise at room temperature for about 1 hour. It should increase in volume by 2 times.

With our hands roll out the dough as a thin layer. Sprinkle the surface of the dough with flour and begin to stretch it gently from the middle to the edges. It is advisable to hold the middle of the dough with your hand. Make the edges a little thicker for a rim.

Step 4: Create a crispy crust

Grease the baking dish with olive oil and dust it with flour so that the dough does not stick to the dish. Spread the filling and put it in a hot oven (180-200 degrees) for about 10 minutes.

 

Secret 5: Choosing the sauce

For a medium diameter pizza, add no more than 3 tablespoons of sauce. As a sauce, use not only traditional tomato paste, but also delicate cream cheese, hummus, zucchini caviar or pesto sauce. Watch the consistency of the sauce: it should not be liquid, otherwise the dough will "float".

 

Step 6: Choosing the stuffing

Be concise and don't use more than four ingredients in one pizza. There should only be one layer of toppings and no more than 1 inch. You should not fill the entire surface of the dough with ingredients, because there will be a layer of grated cheese on top.

Ingredients such as herbs and salad leaves should be placed on the pizza before serving.
