Atlus has made a second announcement to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Persona franchise. Together with Japanese board game maker Banso, the studio will release the card game Persona VS, which will be a crossover between Persona 3, 4 and 5.
According to the description, it's a fast-paced card game designed for two. Assuming the role of one of the three heroes, users will fight short battles by summoning various characters from the series' games and personas, each with unique abilities, onto the battlefield. Important mechanics for the series, like summoning and combining personas to create more powerful ones, will also make their way into the tabletop version.
Persona VS will be available in December 2021 in Japan, with no exact release date being announced. Whether the game will be released in other countries is unknown at the time of publication. Persona VS will cost ¥2,970 (approximately ₽1,880).
