A look at MS Dhoni's extravagant lifestyle, his multi-crore businesses, car collection and more

After India’s recent loss at the World Test Championships, Indian fans were quick to reminisce about an era where MS Dhoni led the Indian team to numerous victories. Also known to have the Midas touch, Dhoni was one of the most successful captains Indian cricket has ever seen; and, the only Indian captain to win all the three ICC tournaments: ICC World T20, World Cup and Champions Trophy.

While representing India, Dhoni was offered the A+ Grade contract by the BCCI, one that got him an annual income of Rs 7 crore. And, MSD is still the highest-paid player of all time drawing more than Rs 150 crore in his 12 years playing at the cash-rich league, IPL. Apart from this, there are a string of businesses that help MS Dhoni mint millions even today. Chennaiyan FC

MS Dhoni has a very close relationship with football. Dhoni owns a part of Chennaiyin FC. His successor, Virat, also has a stake in an ISL team - Goa FC.

Dhoni has a sacred place for bikes in his heart and it's very much evident from his insane bike collection. However, what's interesting is that he also owns a racing team in the Supersport World Championship. This ownership is in partnership with famous actor Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Dhoni's vintage, left-hand drive Pontiac Firebird was delivered to his residence in 2020. While he was repping CSK at the IPL in UAE, Sakshi Dhoni took the delivery and shared photos of the rare addition online. It packs a humongous V8 Big Block Engine and a 4-speed Muncie transmission with Hurst Shifter. While there's no information on how much MS Dhoni spent on this, a report in HT Auto stated that the same model was sold for ₹68.31 lakh at an auction in Mumbai last November.

In 2018, the world spotted MS Dhoni riding the mighty Confederate X132 Hellcat and almost jumped off their seats. Priced at a cool Rs 47 lakh, the Confederate Hellcat X132 uses aircraft-grade titanium that's super tough and light, resulting in an overall weight of roughly 227 kg. It runs on a massive 2.2-litre V-Twin that generates 132hp of power and 200Nm of torque.
