A perfect morning routine for a good start to the day

1.Wake up early

In our Indian culture, we say Brahmamuhurta is an auspicious time to wake up and start a day. Waking up around 3.30 Am-4.00 Am is extremely good but not easy to do for starters. But once we master the wake-up time, we can ride the day positively. You may have noticed our energy level when we wake up so late, lazy throughout the day.

2.Consume tamasic drink

Usually, we drink tea in the morning. But according to Ayurveda tea is tamasic, so it is better to consume satvic drinks like turmeric tea, gooseberry juice, Ash gourd juice, etc. Honey is also a very good option and honey can be mixed with lukewarm water for consumption because the composition and quality of honey change when mixed with hot water. Other herbal teas can also be consumed in the morning.

3.Morning walk, Jog, Exercise, etc

After the drink, we can choose to do some activity. For starters walking is preferable. Jogging can be done after a few days of walking and based on the physical condition of a person. After that, exercise is preferable. Blood circulation will be maximum and feel fresh after morning activities.

4.Yoga/Meditation

Morning activities will open up the nervous system and it is the best time to do yoga/Meditation. After morning activities, give some time for the sweat to settle down. Once it is settled, take a mildly cold bath. Practice yoga(Yoga should be practiced only after learning from a trained teacher/guru) and meditate. Our minds will be filled with positiveness.

5.Breakfast

Breakfast is the king of all meals. So consume food with quality over quantity. Banana, Soaked groundnut, sprouted green gram, sprouted horse gram, honey, and other fruits are best. A lot of raw dishes can be made using the above-mentioned items. For example, banana sliced with soaked ground nuts, add some honey to it. This combination is very healthy. For taste, we can add dates, nuts, pomegranates, etc.
