A40 crash: Pony and truck rider in 'basic condition' after Gloucester impact

A man is in a 'basic condition' following an accident on the edges of Gloucester including a vehicle and a pony and truck. 

 

The episode occurred at around 7.30pm (Thursday 7 October) on the A40 northern detour at Longlevens, between the Elmbridge Court indirect and the Longford indirect, on the west-bound part of street. 

 

The 50-year-old rider of the pony and truck supported genuine wounds and was taken to Gloucestershire Imperial Emergency clinic, where he remains. 

 

The traveler, a 20-year-elderly person, was treated at the scene by paramedics from the South Western Rescue vehicle Administration Trust. 

 

The driver of the vehicle - a silver Vauxhall Mokka - didn't support any wounds. 

 

Police are presently engaging for observers of the collide with approach, and furthermore need to address any individual who saw a pony and truck nearby.
