Al Pacino: Read this if you're tired of everything

The world we live in is very exhausting. It is ungrateful. You are tired of even living in it. You're tired of loving too much, caring too much, giving to a world that never gives anything in return. You are tired of uncertainty. You are tired of the grayness of everyday life.

Once you were full of bright hopes, your optimism outweighed your cynicism, you were ready to give again and again. But a broken heart, unfulfilled promises, failed plans - all this gradually returned you from heaven to earth. The world hasn't always been kind to you and you've lost more than you've gained, and now there's absolutely no inspiration to try again. I understand you.

The truth is, we are all tired. Every one of us is. Once we reach a certain age, we are all nothing more than an army of broken hearts and whining souls desperately seeking harmony. We want more, but we are too tired to ask for it. We don't like where we are now, but we're too scared to start something over. We have to take risks, but we are afraid to see how everything around us might simply fall apart. After all, we're not sure how many times we can start over.

Another truth is that we are tired of each other--tired of the games we play, the lies we tell, the uncertainty we give each other. We don't want to put on a mask, but we don't like to remain a naive fool either. We have to play roles we hate and pretend to be someone because we are unsure of our choices.

I know how difficult it is to keep doing something or to try again and again when mental strength is running out. And those optimistic ideals you once cherished seem hopeless and foolish now. But here's what I ask, if you're so close to giving up: make another try, as hard as you can.

We are much more cheerful than we can imagine, and this is an undeniable truth. We are capable of giving more love, more hope, more passion than we are giving now. We want immediate results and give up if we see no effect. We get frustrated by the lack of feedback and simply give up trying.

Understand, none of us can be inspired every day. We all run out of steam. We all get frustrated. We all get tired. The fact that you are exhausted and tired of life does not mean that you are standing still. Every person you have ever admired has at least once felt defeated in the pursuit of a dream. But that didn't stop him from achieving his goals. Don't let yourself give up no matter what you do, whether it's a daily routine or the realization of big and grand plans.

When you are tired, move slowly. Move calmly, take your time. But do not stop. You are tired for quite objective reasons. You are tired because you are changing and doing a lot of things. You are tired because you are growing. And someday that growth can truly inspire you.
