An important life hack against stray dogs that can save the life of you and your children

It is very, very simple in itself. Namely: when you meet an angry dog or a pack, if they begin to show signs of aggression, turn to them, bend or sit down and make a hand movement as if you were picking something up off the ground. A rock or a stick.

You don't have to pick it up, and it works even if you're standing on a paved area and there's nothing around. Dogs (unlike wolves, which are much weaker affected by this method) have been living next to humans for many thousands of years, and this human movement has long been embedded in their genetic code: a human picked something up, so he now has a stone in his hand, which he can throw. This immediately causes the whole pack to retreat.

Moreover, if they pick up a stone or a stick, I think it would be more reasonable not to throw it but to leave it ready in one's hand. It is written in the same genetic code that after throwing, a person remains defenseless for some time. And hence, you will scare away one dog this way, but others will immediately rush to attack, realizing that there is no more stone.

Once again, in my cases (a few less serious ones besides those two), this method never misfired. As soon as I pretended to pick something up, the dogs immediately ran away to a safe distance, from where they continued to attack by barking, but not by actions. Moreover, you will not believe it, but in one of those severe cases (it was on a vacant lot near the Palace of Bryntsalov in Saltykovka near Moscow), the pack leader had already rushed at me and in a moment had to go to the jump. But my unsophisticated action caused him to turn literally in the air.

Of course, there are specially trained dogs who such a trick can't take, but I don't think they often turn into homeless killers. Too much has been invested in them. To throw them out on the street, especially since the owners understand the potential danger of the pet and the fact that they will have to answer for them. Most stray dogs are just feral, angry and hungry four-legged pets for whom attacking people is not a principle. Retaining in case of danger (and a stone in your hand, even an imaginary one, is always a danger) is not shameful but dog-like sensible.

So I have a request to you: if you read this my tip hack, remember it and make sure you tell it to your children.
