Announcement date for the Honor X30: a budget-friendly Christmas tree

The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro premiered not too long ago and were rushed to be seen as the company's last new products of the year. But the former Huawei sub-brand has saved another debutant for later in the year - the Honor X30. The company today officially announced that it intends to unveil the model on 16 December.

In its post, Honor stressed that the X range is one of the successful ones in its lineup, with around 90 million users. And the company is now ready to showcase a new product as part of the range. The company did not share details about the Honor X30 itself.

What is known is that the novelty is expected to be an affordable device and will get a Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is made using a 6-nanometer processor, has Kryo 660 processing cores and an Adreno 619 graphics subsystem. The smartphone is also credited with a triple rear camera with a 48MP main module and a couple of useless 2MP sensors each.

That's all that's known about the Honor X30. But there's still time before the announcement and insiders may have more to say about the new product before it's announced. As the company itself can share more details about the smartphone.
