Collaborating with medical staff Overall, as a cardiovascular technologists play a vital role in helping diagnose and treat heart-related conditions, promoting cardiovascular health, and supporting the medical team in providing excellent patient care. I have worked for Jon Hopkins university my entire career but I have also collaborated with George Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC on several emergency occasions.
