Bajaj Pulsar 220f (review) ; indian classic sports tourer

Bajaj Pulsar 220 in India in December 2016. There were subtle cosmetic upgrades and a BSIV-compliant engine that the motorcycle received.  Though, the general situation has not changed.  Since its launch, the company has added a new laser red paint scheme on the Pulsar 220. The 220cc motorcycle now gets new graphics - red with new white accents.

With the exception of a few updates, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220 shares a strong similarity with the previous two-seater model.  The bike now gets a new instrument cluster backlit color instead of amber to cool off the blue shade.  Other styling features include a new twin-stripe, matte black with chrome finish exhaust, new fender badges, and chrome accents.  The new seats are claimed to provide a comfortable ride for both the driver and the billionaire.  Powering the bike is the same as the DTS-i's 220cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, which is calibrated to meet BS4 standards.

Comfort for daily uses and long rides

The Pulsar 220f is the best deal you can get around Rs 1.30 lakh(iIn indian rupee).  With a 220cc motor, the bike produces enough power and torque to make you smile on open roads or highways.  One of the best bikes for long distance travel as the rider seat is spacious and excellent in class.

The performance of the bike at that time was very good.  I use it every day in my office, and sometimes I go on a weekend ride for a 150-200km ride.  The riding experience gives me 40 miles on the highway and 32-35 miles on normal city traffic.

The Pulsar 220F is an affordable bike for customers in the four-stroke segment with a DTS-I, oil-cooled, single-cylinder powertrain.  The engine capacity is 220 cc and the engine at the top has 20.65 hp at 8500 rpm and a torque of 18.55 Nm at 7000 rpm.  There are telescopic forks on this bike that are front-mounted.  There is a 5-step adjustable Nitrox shock absorber in the rear to provide good support and balance to the bike while on the road.  There are 260mm and 230mm disc brakes at the front and rear.  There is ample seating comfortably.  There is a LED headlight, sport split seats, split grab bars, electric start, engine shutdown switch, self-cancellation indicator, etc.
