300 g sour cream,
4 chicken eggs,
4 tbsp sifted flour,
300 g butter + 50 g for greasing,
1 tsp baking soda,
3 tablespoons honey,
2 cups walnuts,
2 cups caxapa.
1. knead flour with butter and three egg yolks. Add the sour cream and baking soda and knead the dough and leave in the fridge for half an hour.
Chop the nuts and mix with the sugar and egg whites. 3.
Divide the dough into 8 portions and then roll out separately.
On a greased baking tray lay the dough and nut filling in layers. It is important that the top layer is the dough.
5. Then cut the dough into diamond shapes, grease with egg yolk and decorate with nuts.
6. Place in a heated oven until 190 degrees for 45 minutes, then smear with melted honey and add 50g of butter, and bake for another 5 minutes.
Tip: Remove baklava when it has cooled.
