Best gaming console you can buy in 2022

Xbox360

The Xbox 360 is a home video game console developed by Microsoft. As a follower of the first Xbox, it is the second console in the Xbox series. Compete with Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles. It was officially launched on MTV on May 12, 2005, with a detailed presentation and game information announced later that month on Electronic Entertainment of 2005.

GOOD

Smooth, minimal design of both console and controls. Ability for built-in wireless controller. The redesigned Xbox 360 dashboard is now much cleaner and easier to use. Excellent combination of Xbox Live. It works seamlessly as a game machine. Multimedia capabilities are outstanding with compatibility with other devices.

BAD

Clunky Power Box. No HDMI support. Hard drive is not standard. First-generation games feature good graphics, but probably better than what other high-end PCs can produce.

CENTRAL LINE

Extensive multimedia functionality and the smooth integration of the Xbox Live 360 put you on the road ahead of the current generation consoles. The graphics may not appeal to everyone, but they are an impressive machine from Microsoft.

The Xbox 360 will sell in two batches - the Core System for $ 499.95 and the Xbox 360 System for $ 649.95. For full details, click here.

Many years after Microsoft confirmed its existence and months after its launch in other parts of the world, the Xbox 360 will finally land on the Australian coast on March 23. Like other new gaming consoles to come before it, the Xbox 360 has been a matter of great speculation, hype and hysteria. Thankfully, CNET.com.au is here to cut out all the noise: Is 360 complete when cracked? Is it worth the money? Is it the Xbox 1.5 or is it really the next generation system? Microsoft's Xbox Series X is the ultimate Xbox, as it is the best console to play Xbox games new and old

It is far from easy to buy but it is worth the effort. With more than a year now, the Xbox Series X has a better list of games that lucky owners can try, including a handful of new titles and improved versions of some of the best Xbox One games

People who expect a new generation of console to blow their minds away from the past may be disappointed, as the jumping graphics from the Xbox One X to Series X are not disturbing. But it does mean that most games that are likely to be shugged on older hardware will also work very well in 4K editing

Xbox Series X Review: Price and Availabilit

Released worldwide on November 10, 2020, the Xbox Series X is approaching its first birthday, at the time of writing. And it is still foolish to buy it.

Sony playstation 5

It's been a year since it was released, the PS5 is more popular than ever, it's still hard to find in stock worldwide. And that's for good reason as it's an amazing gaming console, which offers real production overputs on the PS4.

The PS5 not only offers 4K games, it has highly advanced haptics, a fast SSD and immersive 3D audio. All of this and more are coming together to produce a console that is geared toward the next generation, or current generation, of games. There is a small caveat that console is large and may not appeal to everyone. And yet it is a compelling console that you have to keep track of its PS5 restock.

PS5 Specs

Price: $ 499 (standard), $ 399 (Digital Edition)

CPU: 3.5GHz, 8-core AMD Zen 2

GPU: 10.3 teraflop RDNA 2 GPU

RAM: 16GB GDDR6

Storage: Custom 825GB SSD

Expansion: NVMe M.2 SSD hole

Disk Drive: 4K Blu-ray player

Size: 15.4 x 10.2 x 4.1 inches

Weight: 9.9 pounds

It was talked about until death, but the PS5 is a piece of the machine that is truly amazing. The 15.4 x 10.2 x 4.1-inch console is much smaller than any gaming console that has come out over the past decade, including the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. And it's even bigger than its new next-generation rival in the Xbox Series X, and it makes the Xbox Series S look like a children's toy.

That big chassis allows the PS5 to deliver serious performance while staying cool and quiet (which we'll talk about later), but the size of the new PlayStation can be a problem for those with limited entertainment space.

Unless you have a plan to put your PS5 down, you will need a small dedicated table if you plan to park it straight up. I was able to fit the PS5 into my entertainment center horizontally, but slowly. Thus, you will want to measure your available space before setting up the PS5 at home.

Speaking of orientation, the PS5 incorporates an indivisible platform that allows you to set the main console vertically or horizontally. Stand screws go under the console in straight mode (PS5 includes a screw, but there is no folding tool), and it tightens in the PS5 rear aperture in horizontal mode.

It would be great if the PS5 included a base release tool, but I had enough easy time to use the coin to attach and remove it. The system is securely in direct mode with the attached base, but I found the base too dim for horizontal displacement. It took me a few attempts before I found it lying safely on the base. I finally found the PS5 to be always horizontal in my entertainment center, but the fact that the console slides to the base easily without being properly positioned gives me a moment.

Anyway, I'll be keeping the PS5 in a horizontal position most of my time with it, just because I'm worried I accidentally rode a long chassis crazy while sitting at my desk (especially when my very active nephews are gone).
