Big ham and cheese sandwich by Jessica Harris

               INGREDIENTS

3 large slices of toast bread

2 thick slices of cooked and fatty ham

4 thin slices of masdam cheese

100g of cream or cottage cheese

1 medium tomato

salad leaves

1 tsp. favorite mustard

1 tbsp. olive oil

salt, freshly ground black pepper

         STEP BY STEP RECIPE

Step 1

Toast the bread in a toaster or in a pan until crispy. Slice the tomato into thin slices.

Step 2

Mix cream cheese/cream cheese with mustard and olive oil and season with pepper.

Step 3

Brush 2 slices of bread on one side and one slice on both sides with this mixture.

Step 4

Assemble the sandwich in the following order: toast with cheese layer cheese side up, 1 slice ham, 2 slices cheese, 2-3 tomato slices, salad leaves, toast with cheese side down, 1 slice ham, 2 slices cheese, 2-3 tomato slices, salad leaves, toast with cheese layer cheese side up.
