CD Projekt is developing new games in the world of The Witcher and Cyberpunk

The president of CD Projekt Adam Kiczynski said that the company will soon please all fans of The Witcher series and a few Cyberpunk fans.

In a recent interview with the financial newspaper Rzeczpospolita, the head of the company said that the Polish company will begin work on two AAA-caliber games in the Cyberpunk and The Witcher universes.

"Right now we are focused on our two franchises. Both have just huge potential, so we intend to start working on AAA projects in parallel next year."

In this regard, Cyberpunk 2077 will not get more updates and DLC at least until the middle of 2022. At the same time, the developers have moved the game update for the new generation, although the official representatives of the company have not talked about it.

Adam Kiczynski himself confirmed in an interview - don't count on any updates in 2021.

"We won't be releasing any more updates for the game this year. We are working intensively on the last generation console version, which will be released in the first quarter of 2022 with a major update - patch 1.5."

The company plans to release an update and patch for Cyberpunk 2077 in 2022. The head of CD Project is having difficulty giving a more precise date:

"The decision to postpone the release of the next-generation version of Cyberpunk was not easy, but we are confident that it was the right one, especially since it was clearly recommended by our development team."

And as usual sounded already favorite words of modern developers.

"We need extra time to fine-tune the visuals and performance to achieve the highest possible quality throughout the game."

To summarize: Of course it's great that the Reds are making a new Witcher, but so brazenly throw an unfinished, but interesting project, it's too much.
