Chicken fillet baked in bacon

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

Chicken fillet - 500 gr (2 pieces)

Smoked bacon - 150 g

Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons

Honey - 1 tsp.

Table mustard - 1 tsp.

Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.

Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Ground pepper (mixed pepper) - 1 tsp.

Sesame (seeds) - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step recipe.

Prepare all ingredients. Use fresh chicken fillet, not frozen, so the finished snack will be juicier.

Cut the chicken fillets into long strips about 2-3 cm wide along the fibers. (I managed to cut each fillet into 4-5 long sticks.)

Squeeze 1 tbsp juice from a quarter of a lemon.

For the marinade, combine the soy sauce, honey, mustard and lemon juice in a bowl. Add salt (be guided by the saltiness of the soy sauce) and pepper mixture, mix.Put the chicken meat in a bowl, add half of the marinade and stir. Allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

Wrap each piece of chicken fillet in a strip of smoked bacon.

Place the bacon-wrapped chicken on a baking tray or in a parchment-lined dish.

Brush the top of the pieces with the remaining marinade.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over each "stick".

Bake the chicken in bacon in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes, until cooked and brown (use your oven as a guide).

Chicken fillet baked in bacon, suitable for absolutely any table - and as an appetizer for beer, and as a main dish, and as a snack on the road.

The recipe is so simple and interesting that I make it for almost any holiday. And this appetizer always disappears from the table firs
