We've all become spiritual authorities. We (humanity) read the Bible or other scriptures, collect information, form concepts, and then assert those concepts as Truth. No one is exempt, everyone does it. All this gets started when we are very young. It starts with our parents, most often the mother first that feeds us information. We are a boy or a girl and all sorts of other information, how to behave, etc. Then we are sent to school and more information is fed to us. All the while, from birth actually, our cognitive faculty (intellect) begins to develop. Once we enter school (pre-school/kindergarten) the learning (conditioning) becomes more formal, and more intense, like learning our ABCs, learning to read. Then comes the competition, who has the correct answer, etc. The "I know" becomes all-important. Higher marks, head of the class, and all that business are pushed on us to strive for, excel, and then excel more because that brings positive attention. During all of this, the intellect is growing stronger and stronger becoming more and more authoritative. By the way, the intellect is the essence of the mind, which also houses the memory. All of that equals ego. Now, with all this that we've been collecting since birth, we take that and try to understand Jesus' words but it's all at the conceptual level, and Jesus is speaking from the non-conceptual level and this is why we do not understand what He is saying. We construct concepts out of His words in the same way we were taught to construct concepts since birth.

So, when Jesus says,... "Unless to become as children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven." "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."... what else could He be referring to other than a transformation of the intellect?

Find out, by engaging in an Intellect~transforming Dialogue, either alone within yourself or with others who are wanting to understand themselves through Jesus' words.Any authority I have is from my relationship with Father because of Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Everything else, call it what you will. Even the in-depth study of bible words in Hebrew and Greek are still just for understanding. The only things that matter is what we get direct from God. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by hearing from God, my paraphrase. The beauty of religion is it’s deliberately vague so it can be used to manipulate and control (or it is just a result of endless translation)…. But either way in short that passage can mean whatever you want it to mean (or whatever someone what’s you to think it means)…. In the end it makes no difference just like all the religions you’ve dismissed as fake, your one is too
