Classic Sour Cream

A classic recipe for a simple sour cream cake in the oven

This version of the treat in the oven is reminiscent of cheesecake. The delicate sour cream will rest on a ruddy crust. The whole process of baking will be accompanied by a wonderful aroma, and when the sweetness is ready, you can enjoy the amazing taste.


Ingredients for the biscuit:


300 g flour;

200 grams of butter;

8 tbsp. sugar;

5 tsp. baking powder;


For the filling:


4 eggs;

5 tbsp. sugar;

500g sour cream 20%;

One tablespoon of lemon juice;

vanilla on request.


Baking time - 40 minutes.


Step by step plan of action.


Step 1. In the kneaded flour with butter, pour the granulated sugar, egg and baking powder. Prepare the knead, then cover and place in the cold.


Step 2: For the cream, mix the eggs and sugar. Put the sour cream, lemon juice and vanilla.


Step 3. Spread the mixture on a baking ring. Spread and make sides. Pour in the filling.


Bake the sweetness at 180°C for 40 minutes. When ready, take out and cover the cake with a towel for an hour. After that you can portion it out and serve it. It is customary to eat the treat with a mug of tea or milk.
