The developers of Back 4 Blood updated the official game's page on Steam, adding information about the use of anti-piracy protection Denuvo.
For many people this news was an unpleasant surprise, because it was never mentioned before.
DRM is not very popular among gamers because of its negative effect on the performance of some games. Recall that recently the authors of Crysis Remastered, Avengers Tales of Arise and Mafia: Definitive Edition refused the anti-piracy protection.
Back 4 Blood will be released on October 12 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
