According to a blockchain security firm called SlowMist AML, which tracks Crypto donations to the Ukrainian government and 4 Ukrainian NGOs confirmed that the donations to provide support for Ukrainians and the military have reached 53.5 million worth of Crypto assets.
As per SlowMist, the largest amount of donations was received by the Crypto addresses shared by Ukraine's official Twitter accounts, receiving about 33.75 million USD.
In the second place, there is an NGO named "Come Back Alive" which receives about 9.4 million USD of Crypto Assets.
UkraineDAO is the third biggest fundraiser getting about 11 million USD worth of Crypto assets. For the uninitiated, UkraineDAO is a crowdfunding effort made possible by PleasrDAO teaming with NFT (non-fungible token) studio Trippy Labs and Russian art collective Pussy Riot.
Other NGOs or organizations that also have gained a high volume of Crypto donations are 'Unchain.Fund' and 'AidForUkraine' that raised about 2 million USD and 1.5 million USD respectively, according to SlowMist AML.

Interestingly, when Ukraine hinted at an "airdrop" which will be for "rewarding" Crypto donors, there was a spike in donations.
In the morning hours of March 2, the official Twitter account of Ukraine stated that an "airdrop" has been "confirmed" and said that snapshots will be taken on March 3, 18:00 Kyiv time as they added, "Reward to Follow!".
After that, thousands of small donations started flooding into the Ethereum blockchain which ranged from ETH 0.0001 to ETH 0.01.
As per Dune Analytics, the number of unique wallet addresses that donated after the announcement of "airdrop" was subsequently more than the number of unique wallets address that was before the announcement.
Some experts in the Crypto space said that the airdrop announcement may have helped further spread the word, which implies that Crypto Users are not necessarily trying to boot their fundraising efforts for their yet-to-be-disclosed reward.
However, the spike in donations did pull Ethereum donations towards close to Bitcoin donations. According to Elliptic, a crypto research firm, 33.3 % of all Crypto donations to Ukraine are in BTC, and 32.6 % are in ETH.
Tokens called Peaceful World (WORLD) has also been created on March 2. It was sent to Ukraine's Crypto Donation Address. It has not been confirmed whether it is legit or a scam though.
Later on March 3rd at noon, UTC, Ukraine's minister of digital transformation told that the airdrop has been canceled and instead of that, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) would be announced to support the armed forces soon.
Also, the Cryptocurrency lending platform NEXO told that it will match all the customer donations (up to 500,000 USD) to help Ukraine. The motivation came after the platform donated 100,000 USD in Crypto
Afterward, Mykhailo Fedorom said in a tweet that they are accepting donations in Dogecoin (DOGE) too.
Billy Markus in a response said that Dogecoin folks are not usually rich and Dogecoin itself is used for small transactions, but they are a caring and passionate bunch.
As per Dogechain data, a dogecoin explorer, more than DOGE 536,000 (roughly 70,600 USD) has already been donated to Ukraine through more than 1000 transactions.
