Cutlets of boiled potatoes

Ingredients

Potatoes - 1,5 kg

Onions - 1 pc.

Greens - to taste

Salt - to taste

Bread crumbs - 7 tbsp.

Vegetable oil - for frying

I had 6 cutlets

These cutlets are frequent guests on my table, and I cook them with pleasure and fill them with different herbs, sometimes adding cheese. The idea came after I boiled a big pot of potatoes, half of which were eaten and the other half were left over for the next day. You could, of course, just fry them with onions, but that's boring and usual, so I got the idea to make cutlets. Since then, I don't worry if there are boiled potatoes left over.

Cutlets of boiled potatoes are ideal to serve with meat or mushroom gravy, they are very delicious, and just with fresh vegetables and greens is very good.

So, let's prepare all the necessary products for boiled potato cutlets.

Peel and boil potatoes in salted water until tender, drain the water and cool the potatoes completely, then grate them on a coarse grater.

Peel and finely chop the onions, fry them in a pan with vegetable oil until they brown.

Place the fried onions in the potatoes. Add finely chopped greens, salt and mix well.

From the potato mass form cutlets.

Roll in breadcrumbs.

Fry in a pan with vegetable oil on both sides over medium heat until golden brown.

Boiled potato cutlets are ready, serve hot.

Bon appetit!
