Fried patties with egg and green onions on kefir
Kefir is the main product used in the kneading process to obtain a puffy and tender muffin. On its basis, you can make fried buns for such an effect.
The following products will be required for the dough:
150 ml of kefir;3 tbsp of sour cream;an egg;a tablespoon of sugar;a teaspoon of soda;350 g of flour;a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
For the filling:
5 eggs;150 g of onion feathers;50 g of butter;salt and pepper to your taste.
This method takes 50 minutes.
Here we go.
Step 1: Mix the kefir with the sour cream. Season with salt and sugar.
Step 2: Stir and pour in the egg. Stir until smooth.
Step 3. Mix the sifted flour into the mixture in small batches.
Tip: It is not necessary to clog the mass with flour. It is important to get a soft material, so that the patties come out tender.
Step 4: When you intervene 50% of the prepared product, then put the baking soda. Then continue kneading.
Step 5. When it is difficult to knead in a bowl, put it out on a work surface and continue the process by hand.
Tip: If you forget to put a portion of vegetable oil in the kefir, as it happened to me, then add it immediately to the dough.
Step 6: Place the prepared dough into the greased container. Cover and leave to rise for half an hour.
Take care of the filling.
Step 7 Boil and cool the eggs. Rinse and chop the onion feathers.
Step 8. Melt butter in a skillet.
Step 9. Send the onions to the pan and poach a little. It is not necessary to fry. It's important to get them soft.
Step 10. Once soft, put them in a bowl.
Step 11. Combine the green ingredient with the chopped eggs. Season with salt, pepper and stir.
All that's left is to form and fry the patties.
Step 12: Transfer the dough to a work surface. Knead it up a bit.
Step 13. Divide into portions and roll each one into a ball.
Step 14. Knead each ball into a round with your hands.
Step 15. Place the filling in the middle.
Step 16. Assemble the patty. Do the same procedure with the rest of the koloboks.
Step 17. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
Step 18. Moderate heat. Then place the billets with the seam side down.
Step 19. When browned, you can turn them over.
Place the finished patties first on paper towels to remove any excess oil. Afterwards, place them on a large platter. The cakes can be served with a glass of milk. They will be delicious!
