Dog Mom Memories Are Something To Hold On To Forever

Dog Mom Memories

Wow, where do I begin? Those wet nosed kisses get me everytime. Being a dog mom is such a blessing! It’s not always an easy job, but it sure is the best job! Waking up to those adorable eyes and wagging tail intrigues me to get my but out of bed! Dog moms will understand what I mean.

The dawn walks in the lush trails with the sun beaming down on us makes our mornings special. No matter where we go together, it's always an adventure. Being a dog mom is remarkable. The furever love between a dog and a human is so wholehearted.

Hard to believe, many things I know in life today I've learnt from dogs. My life has revolved around dogs since a young age. I've always loved dogs. How can you not? When there is so much unconditional love to give. My dogs have shared some of the best days of life with me, also shared some of the worst. That's the thing though ... they are always there for you no matter what, ready to give you UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

Life with a dog is entertaining, exciting, and fulfilling. Some people will disagree, In spite of that I'd say being a dog mom is magnificent and creates a life of memories. A world without my dog would be dark.

Every morning my dog is the first thing that crosses my mind.

Often we get up together, she goes outside to potty while I make my coffee. When she comes back in, we snuggle on the couch while I check my phone responding to any missed messages or emails. Usually we play frisbee once a day or try to get out for a walk which keeps us both fit and active. I don't think I would have as much interest in going on walks if I didn't have a dog. It's exciting to see their tails wagging, sniffers going, ears up and full of eagerness.

Don't get me wrong some of the puppy days were hard, some of the stubborn stages were hard. As you grow together and bond you'll realize that these times were also memories, you realize that every little thing you do together will slowly become a memory.

Just think about it... nobody is happier to see you when you get home than your dog, trust me on that. It seems unfair that we don’t get the chance to be dog moms longer! It's breathtaking to watch them grow when they're so young and little. As they grow older it begins to get overwhelming as the days go by. That's why everyday and every moment with your dog should be admired.

So next time you see your dog doing something cute, snap a picture! Truth be told they won’t always be there doing those cute things that make them who they are today.

Cherish them as an everlasting recollection and take that picture, heck take 20!

FUN FACT: Dogs curl up in a ball shape when they're sleeping to protect themselves from predators, as well as keep themselves warm. The position is most common in winter months.
