Akshay Kumars Khiladi Next, which is going to be a powerhouse hit, is the product of South Cinemas overwhelmingly popular popularity till date.
The historic drama, Prithviraj, also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari. Directed by noted author-director Chandraparaksh Dwivedi, the film stars Akshay Kumar as the titular character, King Prithviraj Chauhan.
During a trailer release event for the historical drama, Akshay Kumar said that he learned about the life and times of Prithviraj through a book, Prithviraj Raso, and realized how little people knew about the ruler. Akshay Kumar said that he is extremely proud of Prithviraj, a historical drama of the war, and started choking when he thought how his mother, Aruna Bhatia, who passed away last September, would react to it.
