Edge of Eternity coming to consoles February 2022

Midgar Studio's Edge of Eternity has a new release date of February 10, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Series X/S. A Nintendo Switch release will follow on February 23. Inspired by the JRPG, Edge of Eternity was supposed to launch in Spring 2021 for last-gen consoles, but was pushed back as the current-generation version was announced. It finally launched on Steam in June. The update will coincide with the console's launch, which will add Japanese voiceovers to the game. In Edge of Eternity, the people of Heryon fight a mysterious invader. Conflict escalated and added a new threat to the fray. Protagonists Daryon and Selene must find a way to save Heryon, taking on turn-based battles along the way. Key features include:

With music by Chrono Trigger composer Yasunori Mitsuda. Indie JRPG Edge of Eternity is on its way to game consoles next year. It came out on PC earlier this summer, and will be available across PlayStation and Xbox consoles starting February 10, 2022, with a cloud release to follow on the Switch on February 23, 2022. The game features a soundtrack from Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles composer Yasunori Mitsuda. The console version will include all updates and fixes from the PC version. Additionally, all releases will receive full Japanese voice acting starting February 10. The game takes place in the fictional world of Heyon, torn apart by conflicts between users of technology and magic. Features turn-based combat with a hex setting. Players can also use the environment to defeat enemies and lure them into traps. Edge of Eternity was developed by French indie Midgar Studio and successfully funded via Kickstarter.
