Today, I want to talk about my University. As you already know, his name is İlauni. Perhaps you are wondering where this name came from? It is derived from the name of the famous Georgian writer and poet Ilia Chavchavadze, who made a great contribution to the Georgian language. He is also tragically killed. In the past, Ilauni was a foreign language institute. In 2006, it turned into a University. As soon as it was established, it gained great popularity.
It is a highly sought after University in Georgia. Especially in my city they choose it very often. Enrollment conditions are not too difficult. It has a red logo which is very modern and nice. Studying in it is not difficult and the conditions are very good. The tuition fee is 2250 GEL, which you can pay in two, five or ten payments. Many things are by European standards. It is also possible to travel to foreign countries through exchange programs, which are often included in the University.
Now, I want to talk about my own experience, what is good and interesting here. As in other Universities of Georgia, all subjects are taught once a week. Which is very convenient for students, it is also easy to prepare. I study English philology where there are very good and friendly lecturers. To start studying here, you need to know the English language at an intermediate level. Language development is very easy here. Historical, cultural, grammatical and mostly literary subjects. We were also assigned to watch literary films, which was very interesting. The main course is held 4 times a week where grammar and translation are taught. It is also possible to choose 2 professions called major and minor. It can be mastered through 10 subjects of the minor. This is also possible by choosing two professions from different faculties. Lecturers are very friendly and understanding towards students.
I am glad that I chose this university and study in such an interesting, fun and friendly environment.❤
