The technology of bringing back previously extinct species is wrong and right here's why. Bringing back an array of extinct species is wrong because it would mess with natures balance and in turn cause catastrophic results. These results may include messing with the balance of the food chain, causing other species to go extinct and bringing possibly extinct disease back to existence. Source B explains how it's controversial to bring back the extinct source B states"Such an endeavor would release plague and unknown diseases on Earth."the fact of the matter is this is in fact true humanity can be plagued by ancient diseases we aren't prepared to fight off and this could possibly cause mass extinction there is just so many variables in this until technology and science progresses further scientist should just leave the nature of resurrection of extinct species alone. However, in cloning of extinct organisms we can use this technology for species in risk of extinction or are going extinct to bring the population's back up and save species from dying out. Because we do have the technology we just have to use it for what's best and not what's going against nature. There will always be questions that will arise out of the resurrection and cloning of extinct species such as is it humane to bring back an extinct species? But of course there is no true correct answer or a wrong answer the only thing scientists can really do is hypothesize and test these hypothesis out but if you really think about it you think will there be food will our more modern habitat be suitable for these creatures but other questions that arise is will bringing back extinct creatures cause a deadly pandemic that could potentially end mankind.
What the future holds in resurrection as science progresses further in the biomedical field scientist are looking to bring back the woolly mammoth currently scientist are funding $60 million in the de-extinction whether it's the combination of mammoth cells combined with an elephant fetus or simply genetically modifying elephant genes but there is huge controversy in this because we may cause mass extinction of other species plus it's inhumane because the mammoth won't have the correct habitat or the correct food this will also in turn corrupt the food chain editing the genes of today's elephant species could create problems and once you ressurect species you have to ressurect tons of species organisms and plants reintroducing anything that's extinct will cause problems and create mass extinction create possible pandemics and it's just inhumane society really has to think and realize all the variables and conclude that this is possibly dangerous.
DNA test shows that the woolly mammoths DNA is 99.6% match with the Asian elephant so if we potentially ressurect the woolly mammoth it will most likely be resurrected through the Asian elephant.
In conclusion scientist should not ressurect extinct species but ressurect species in risk of going extinct or going extinct scientist should use the technology and knowledge they have instead of using what's not obtained and science will evolve.
