Favorite Animals by the letter A to Z- B is for Bears

Hey everyone and i hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Things are pretty good here. I'm back with part two of my favorite animals by the letter series and in at B is Bears.

So many bears to choose from. But i will start with my favorite Bear of them all the Grizzly Bear.

Grizzly bears are gigantic animals around 8 or 9 feet tall and they can weigh up to 2 thousand pounds. They are found mostly in places like Alaska and Canada. But used to be everywhere before they were hunted to near extinction back before all the laws were made about that kind of stuff. The reason they are called Grizzlies is the grizzled look to their fir kind of like blonde tips. Its true to though that they are one of the most aggressive.

Grizzlies are intelligent animals and great fisherman and hunters. You can find them gathered together every year for the salmon run. One cool thing i saw once too is a mother grizzly teaching her cubs how to dive under the water and cetch fish.

Grizzlies can also run very fast around 40 mph and climb trees. They do this to get honey just like everyone's favorite Disney bear Winnie the pooh.

Another cool Bear i will talk about next is the Polar Bear. They are beautiful bears with white fir and they are also the biggest bears in the world along with the Kodiak Bear they can get over 10 feet tall.

Polar Bears are the best swimmers too, they swim many miles in the ocean looking for ice where they can hunt seals.

Sadly polar bears are one of the animals most affected by global warming every year the ice gets further and further away and many cubs are lost they just can't make the swim sometimes in those rough waters and even the big ones will get so hungry, that they will try to attack walruses and walruses are as big as they are and have huge tusks that can kill them. So they are only successful about half of the time.

Next up is the black bear. Black Bears are the best climbers and the fastest. But they are a little smaller. Black bears i think can even be found in Oregon and Washington.

Then up next from the land of China is probably the most unique bear the panda bear. Panda bears are unique because they eat mostly bamboo a tree also popular for building houses in many countries.

Last but not least is the sun Bear the smallest Bear, they only get about 4 or 5 feet tall and weigh around 200 pounds. But don't let their size fool you. I saw one of these things take on a Tiger defending its cubs and it didn't lose it was a draw and the Tiger gave up running away. That's pretty impressive. One last note mother bears are probably the most protective mothers at all. So keep a safe distance.
