Ferrari set a sales record, and that's without a crossover

EMEA remained the largest market for the brand, combining Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with 5,492 vehicles sold there (+14%). In second place is the Americas with 2,831 units (+22%). Demand for Ferrari in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan increased by 97% at once, although in units it is only 899 cars.

Sales of Ferrari eight-cylinder models last year increased by 34.6% at once. The indicator of supercars with V12 fell by 16.1%, but the company explains it with the end of production of 812 Superfast. Finally, the brand's revenues rose 23.4% to 4 billion 271 million euros. Net profit rose 56% to 833 million euros. The new CEO Benedetto Vigna said this is proof of the effectiveness of the existing business model.

This year, Ferrari promises to start production of two new models: already presented "icon" Daytona SP3 and yet classified crossover Purosangue. Deliveries of both novelties to customers will start in 2023.

Thus, the premiere of Purosangue should take place during 2022. So far we have seen only spy shots of its camouflaged prototypes, there is almost no official information. According to rumors, the most practical Ferrari will get a spacious four-seater interior, air suspension and a hybrid powertrain. Two more all-electric SUVs may follow after it.

Earlier about record sales in 2021, other manufacturers of expensive cars: Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce reported. Unlike Ferrari, all of them have already included crossovers into their model lines which provided essential growth of indicators.
