When we observe closely with heightened awareness, we can see that even a simple thing holds significant meanings. Every second, every day, every action, every encounter and every experience behold hidden messages because nothing here happens without a reason. In this present situation we can observe that values are lost in the names of culture and development. We forget the world around us and are drowned in our artificial framed world. Its time to awaken ourselves and listen to the lessons that nature sings.
Every living entity are some or the other way connected to nature. Spending time and communicating with nature will open the windows to unveil unseen things. Everything around us apart from manmade is nature. Stars, moon, wind, trees, sun, animals, rain, wind etc…and every element of nature be it a little grass or a glowing moon hold meanings and lessons for mankind. Our one life time is not enough to listen to all the stories which nature reserves. Here I am going to share five significant life lessons which we can learn from an important component of nature: THE SUN.
GIVE WITHOUT EXPECTATIONS
The evolution of earth date back to millions of years and since the formation of earth the sun has given light till now and continue to deliver on. The sun is an ultimate source of energy. The sun is a powerful source of light. The sun is a source-less source. Each and everything in the world continue to function by interacting with the sun. The sun is a life saviour, the sun is a life giver and without it life doesn’t exist. The sun receives nothing from anything but never stops giving itself to everything. Its very presence makes the movements of planetary objects in the universe. This constant giving aspect of the sun teaches the most important lesson of giving, spreading and sharing what we have without expectations. It can be love, it can be food, it can be moral support, it can be anything…. Just give it to the fullest and shine as bright as the sun…
FALL BUT RISE AGAIN
The sun always sets and rises. This process goes on and on without break. The sun rises to give a new day thus delivering us a new hope from every failure we encounter. The elegant rays of morning sun whispers in your ears… yeah last night I fell and this morning I am springing up. No matter how many times we fail, how many times we fall, never lose hope…rise…get up…move on…because every time you rise there is hope and one day you will be that dazzling sun of your life.
WORTHWHILE PRESENCE IN SOMEONE’S LIFE
The sun is called an important driving factor of life because of its meaningful connection with the earth. Without its bond the concepts like seconds, hours, days, months, years… the very unit of measurement called “time” cannot be calculated. The concept of “time” will not exist without the Sun. The earth’s climate, seasons, and weather can only be predicted by its revolving movement around the sun. The moon shines bright in the dark sky because of the light which it receives from the Sun. Thus, the sun’s presence makes certain things lively and meaningful. From this we can learn that we should lead a life in which our presence makes someone’s life meaningful. For someone whose life is dark, whose hope shattered, whose heart is in pain….be with them, console them, embrace them, love them…let your fruitful presence make their life back to normal and meaningful.
DON'T DISCRIMINATE 0THERS.
The sun teaches us another valuable lesson to not prejudice. Ask yourself, Does the sun shine only on a particular area? No, it gives light equally to the earth. It may give light to us at a different time zone providing where we are located but it shines and distributes its light equally and evenly. This equality and impartial nature of the sun insist us to treat everyone same under the sky. There should not be neglection or rejection based on gender, caste, creed, colour or anything. We are all same under the sun…
UNCERTAINTIES OF LIFE.
We encounter sunrise and sunset… We see the sun moving from east to west but we are also aware of the actual truth that the sun never moves….it appears to move from our eyes. The sun at some part of times seems to appear and disappear yet we all know that the sun is there all the time. This makes us to understand the maya of life. What appears before us is not the actual truth. Its just the play of our vision. In life we are not certain about the next minute. Everything changes and nothing is real as it appears. So don’t take too much and worried about life. Take it easy…just move on and sync with the change.
When we all rise from our beds, the sun also rises with us and at the same time when the sun sets down, we also retire ourselves from the day’s work and tuck ourselves to bed. Each day is a gift of life and how we spend the day shows how we are spending our lives. So, let’s make our lives fruitful and optimistic by enlightening ourselves with these wide metaphorical lessons.
