Ford Bronco has a strange problem: the interior is covered with snow

Ford Bronco owners have begun to complain about snow covering the interior of the SUV while it is parked. Bronco6g.com user BroncoCanuck has told about second case of this kind: he left his car outside in heavy snowstorm and after returning back he found that the interior was covered with snow. However, he was absolutely sure that all the windows were closed and the soft top was tightly secured.

BroncoCanuck posted a video as visual proof. The footage shows a thin layer of snow on the second row seats and virtually all horizontal surfaces inside the Bronco. Snow dust also covered the ceiling and accumulated at the attachment points of the removable roof - most users assumed that it was the reason.

The SUV owner was advised as a temporary measure to wrap towels around the edges of the arch where the soft top is attached, and others recommended checking the latches above the center pillar again. However, according to BroncoCanuck, the roof was indeed secured properly.

In January, another similar incident happened to a Bronco in Canada: then the SUV was left outdoors during a snowstorm for a long period of time, and the entire interior was swept away as a result. The owner noted that there was no damage to the soft top and it had never even been removed - only once two latches were opened.

Ford has already spoken out about the incident. According to a Motor1 brand spokesperson, this only happened if the roof was removed or not properly secured, so the customer should go to the dealer for verification. If the problem is actually discovered, it will be fixed under warranty, Ford concluded.

First incidentThis isn't the first problem with the removable roof that Bronco owners have encountered. Last summer, the first buyers of the SUV discovered that the exterior surface was covered in noticeable patterns and the interior trim was sloppily made. Because of the widespread complaints, the manufacturer had to replace the roofs on all units produced.
