LEGENDARY MONSTERS, CREATURES AND COSTUMES
The Fortnite: Nightmares 2021 event will bring new and familiar Halloween-inspired costumes to the store. What to expect. Throughout the month, cards will reveal legendary monsters that will appear in the Fortnite item store, as well as classic Fortnite characters who changed their look on Halloween Eve. As each new item appears in the store, a map will flip on this page. Take a look at the card to see what item will appear in the store, and don't forget to examine the shirts of the other cards that hint at the next items
Want to solve some mysteries right now? Among the legendary creatures you'll find Frankenstein's Monster and the Mummy, both based on Universal Pictures movies and included in the Monsters for All Tastes set! Keep an eye on the Flipping Cards page and our social media feeds to find out when these monsters break into the item store. Also, a little later this month, Mummy will arrive on the island and wander there, looking for a way into his home afterlife.
For starters, the Box and Carton, based on players' ideas, with new glowing versions of their alternate ghostly styles, will be available in the item store today, October 5!
Also in October, you can hop on the battle bus and see cosplayers dressed as Fortnite characters on Universal CityWalk Boulevard, which is adjacent to Universal Studios theme park in Hollywood. You'll meet different characters on the boulevard throughout the month, and new characters from the "Fortnite: Nightmares" event will be debuting there at the same time as the item store arrives! Come and take pictures!
NEW SIDE OF THE CUBES' PLAN...
The Cubs move on to the next point of their insidious plan. A little later they will try to expand their influence on the island. But don't be discouraged! Let the new weapons from Parallel give you confidence, as well as the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of Halloween again. Also a special time mode will return to the game...
While the island is going through cube chaos, you'll be able to complete quests and receive spooky rewards.
NIGHTMARE MOVIES" GIVE YOU GOOSEBUMPS
The "Fortnite: Nightmares 2021" event will conclude with the third short film festival. Like previous festivals, Nightmares will feature animated short films, but this time they focus on macabre and ominous events. In addition, this short film festival will take place in a theater created by one of the authors (Quantum Builds), where each short film will be shown in a separate screening room. You will be able to choose the order in which you watch them yourself or watch them one by one in the festival hall.
