French hot dog with Vienna sausage

Recipe for French hot dog at home in an easy way.


Cooking process

To make a French hot dog at home, you do not need to be a super-chef with a bunch of complicated culinary gadgets, it is enough to have a toaster or a good grill pan and buy quality products for cooking it.


Prepare the products according to the list. We will need French hot dog buns with a hole inside the entire length. They are usually sold in the freezer department, along with burger buns. The buns, of course, need to be defrosted. Cut the pickles into very small cubes.


Ingredients for a French hot dog


French hot dog buns - 5 pcs.


Sausages of Lyon (or Vienna) - 5 pcs.


Pickled cucumber - 1-2 pcs.


Mayonnaise - 5 tsp.


Ketchup - 5 tsp.


Mustard - 5 tsp.


Preheat a grill pan.


Place the buns on it and fry on both sides. We will need a light press for this. I had a small sized cutting board.


Put the buns in the pan.


When the buns are hot and crispy on both sides, quickly remove them from the pan.


To fry the buns.


Lyon (Vienna) sausages are usually sold vacuum-packed with a small amount of sauce, and you should be sure to blot them with a paper towel.


Blot the sausages with a napkin


Place the sausages in a hot pan, fry on all sides until brown and lightly scorched on all sides.


Fry the sausages.


Spoon a teaspoon of your favorite hot mustard into each bun.


Place the mustard in the buns.


Add a teaspoon of your favorite mayonnaise.


Put the mayonnaise in.


Place sliced pickles in the hole.


Put the pickles in.


Pour in your favorite tasty ketchup.


Add ketchup.


Place hot Lyon sausage into the hole in the bun.


Place the sausage in the bun.

Do the same with the rest of the buns, sausages and sauces.

Top each bun with your favorite tomato sauce around the sausage and serve immediately. Honestly, the French hot dogs turned out delicious, much better than the specialty fast food places! Cook, and let it be delicious, just to make it very tasty - do not skimp on the products (the elementary law of tasty home cooking).
