Games 2022: where will we play this year

New and different worlds are a good way to end a good year, for example, to finish all the series and finish all the unfinished games. And although it is not a simple task, especially with so many games, including free ones, which are literally pouring on us every day, there are plenty of opportunities to get drunk for the closure of the library. Already from the other half of March, the 2022 games will start to appear. From the beginning of the PC console games, and for the end of March - the beginning of July, new games for different platforms. Let's see, what the developers and developers prepared for us this time.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction

Genre cooperative tactical shooter

Release date 20 March 2022

Platforms Win, PS4, PS5, XBO, XSX, Stadia

At first glance, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, made possible by one of Rainbow Six Siege's add-on modes, looks like another copy of Left 4 Dead, but it's not. Judging by the gameplay snippets that were shown by Ubisoft, it's a more tactical shooter, where it's important to coordinate the actions of the team, and make careful use of the skills and gadgets of each operator, as in the same Rainbow Six Siege.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Genre action/RPG

Release Date 28 March 2022

Platforms NS

After Pokémon Sword and Shield (2019), a great game about Pokémon and monster collectors. This time, it's not an RPG as usual, but an action/RPG in an open world that imitates aspects of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but continues to use the core gameplay mechanics of the Pokémon series.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Genre action/RPG, survival/horror

Release Date 4 July 2022

Platforms Win, NS, PS4, PS5, XBO, XSX

After several postponements and scandals, and 2 years after its planned release date, the sequel to Dying Light will finally hit the shelves. Set 20 years after the first installment, parkour and zombie slaying have been left behind, but the developers have paid more attention to the interactions between different groups of survivors and how your decisions change the city around you. Sounds interesting, let's see how it looks in the game, fortunately it's not too late. Not long ago, the developers of the game said that the full playthrough of Dying Light 2 could take as long as 500 years, but after the negative reaction of gamers corrected that it will take only 20 years to complete the main storyline.
