Hackers robbed Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange users by bypassing two-factor authentication.
Recently it became known that hackers stole their cryptocurrencies from Coinbase exchange users, while bypassing the two-factor authorization. The attackers took advantage of Coinbase's SMS-based vulnerability.
Coinbase has already issued a comment and states that Coinbase claims to have updated its SMS-based two-factor authentication protocols immediately after learning of the problem. The company says it's not talking about a data breach on its part. The company also says it will compensate all users.
