Health walks barefoot - forget shoes

Spring is just waking up and with it our body. The body switches the channel to active mode and is ready to take on new life forces. If we want to make it easier for him, it is advisable to forget about shoes for a while - by walking barefoot, we connect the body directly to the source, and the healing power of nature recharges our batteries completely naturally through our feet.

Healthy spine, blood vessels, and immunity? Just take off your shoes!

Walking barefoot is a medicine that our body understands. From the point of view of genetics, human shoes are just a new invention that deforms the feet and deprives them of contact with nature. On the contrary, bare feet are relaxed and do not know any restrictions. When walking barefoot, we involve all the small muscles and bones, we set the circulatory system in motion, and we also massage the reflex points of the feet, which symbolize the condition of individual organs of the body. In other words, healthy feet make a healthy body - and mother nature seems to pump life-giving energy directly into our veins through them.

Healthy blood vessels

By walking barefoot, we regulate blood pressure - the low one will increase and the high one, on the contrary, will decrease. Contact with the ground ensures the proper functioning of blood vessels and protects against the formation of varicose veins. The heart beats in the right rhythm and we feel good.

A healthy spine

When we stand firmly on the ground with our bare feet, our figure is straightened, the spine is favorably pulled upwards and thus heals many pains.

Healthy feet

Especially people who have problems with feet, growths, fallen arches, and pain in the limbs should regularly walk barefoot. When walking barefoot, the entire foot moves, even the smallest muscles and bones, which, on the other hand, get blocked in the shoe and cause these problems. Problems with mold are also worth mentioning - if we forget about shoes, the moisture will disappear and the feet will be regularly ventilated - this way no mold has even the slightest chance to survive.

Healthy psyche

Those who regularly walk barefoot are in a more intense connection with nature, strengthening their self-confidence and ability to empathize. Since when walking barefoot a person has to focus more on what he is walking on, the ability to concentrate is also trained. Direct contact with the earth also activates the "anti-stress program" and thus has a relaxing effect.

A healthy body

If we feel pain when walking barefoot, it is probably due to an imbalance in one of the internal organs. The foot is dotted with reflex points that represent every part of our organism. If we feel pain, we should therefore regularly massage our feet and walk barefoot as often as possible. By walking on soft ground and small pebbles, we soothe the whole body, because we massage all the reflex points, and thus our "chi" will flow even in previously blocked places.

Facts about healthy barefoot walking

Cold feet? Toughen them up!

Even people with icy feet can find the right medicine in barefoot walking. As it seems, numb legs may not be numb so much as poor blood circulation. Do you have cold feet? Remove your socks from them and expose them to a very low temperature for a while - walking barefoot in cold water or snow will take the blood in the veins and stimulate circulation. After a few minutes, dry your feet and they will warm up with their own heat in no time. Follow the same procedure if cold feet bother you during the night. Shortly before going to bed, step from one foot to another in a cold bath and then snuggle up in the comforter - cold feet will certainly not wake you from sleep this night.

Barefoot is the fastest

Walking with bare feet is the most natural human movement - and that's why we're so good at it. Just think of the natives who run long kilometers barefoot, and at the same time, their feet are free of growths, swellings, or blisters. The civilized world has become too accustomed to the comfort of shoes, and walking barefoot seems somehow primitive. But is she really like that? After all, when we see the example of an Ethiopian running, we have to hold our breath with enthusiasm. Graceful movement, lightness, and infinite speed resemble the movement of a beast more than a human. If walking barefoot was so primitive, it probably wouldn't have made it to the Olympics. Perhaps the most famous barefoot runner was Abebe Bikila – this Ethiopian literally ran for the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960. He was not the only one! There are more and more barefoot runners even nowadays.

Abebe Bikila won the gold medal in 1960. He was the first to reach the finish line at the Olympic Games in Rome - barefoot.

What is the secret behind it? When we walk barefoot, the feet perform a much more natural movement than when walking in classic shoes. The German health practitioner and running coach Matthias Marquardt explains:

Barefoot running is smooth, easy, efficient – and downright miraculous for knee and shin problems. Instead of the heels, we involve the middle and upper part of the foot in the movement, and the contact with the ground is very short.

Walking barefoot is therefore very natural, healing, and pleasant. None of us need to learn it all over again - in order to enjoy all its benefits, we just need to get rid of unnecessary prejudices. Are you taking a walk in the park? In the forest? In your own garden? Take off your shoes and go where your heart takes you - you will really reach your destination barefoot. You will be healthy, vital, and full of energy. :-)
