How Humanity Destroyed My Ways (Based on True Story)

My name is Benson Ngecu. I was born in kenya back then on 31st January 2003 in nyeri county.

Being the first born, i was the mirror for other minor siblings in our family. In this way I had to keep my ways pure and clean to avoid being a bad first born.

After finishing my primary school education I joined high school which could have shaped my life in the right way and determine who I would be.

After I joined highschool, came to realize that I could make it through by making friends both good and bad friends.

Due to my age and also due to peer pressure, I had to find an easier way to coup and keep up with others. I tried to look contrary but it didn't work since I did not influence anyone the only thing I did was to creat more and more enemies.

Just like tekashi69, back home I joined a type of a gang which according to me was the worst in the area and also the worst thing I could have done.

We had everything and this made the people in the are fear the gang so much since there could be no any single day we could not be involved in a conflict with people.

It was so much that we even started recruiting new members with a fee, and also they had to take oath  so that to protect the privacy of the group.

Though this did not influence my grades in highschool so much, I still made it to join university. Due to many gang members being murdered by police I decided to change my character and try to gain money in a positive way.

This was after joining campus at thika, due to seeing of new faces I could not avoid them but I had to keep them. The individuals in my class influenced me positively and I could do nothing but to avoid the earlier bad habits.

Though I did not like it, I had to do it and change it for my benefit because may be I could be the next person to fall in the hands of the police.

Right now, I am joining second year in the UNIVERSITY with the same positive vibe and hoping to continue with the same vibe.

May be it is not the best but it can influence someone who has been in the same situation like me and help him or her coup up with the situation.
