How to Deal With Depression

Depression today is one of the most leading reason of suicide according to the World Health Organization. Indeed, it is a very mild and yet big problem. Depression unlike other mental condition isn't inherently a condition itself. Depression is just the result of negative thinking and pressure. This is how depression begun and this you must realize before it gets dangerous.

 

One best practice to use to get rid of negative thoughts is to counter them with positive thoughts. This would talk some practice but the practice will pay off once you already mastered thid technique. Whenever a negative thought came into your mind, immediately counter it with a positive one. Another way to counter negative emotions is to delete them, just like when you're using your phone and you don't need the app anymore. You can just delete them. Visualize that negative thought and imagine destroying or burning it. 

 

Some depressed people find it hard to use these techniques, in this case, you must consult a psychologist so to fix the problem. But overall, our support and love are still the best medicine that we can give to these depressed people. So, if you know someone who is depressed, hug him and tell him you loved them and you're ready to listen to them. Most cases of depression states that most of the victims just lacks the ability to share their problems with others, and that way, they think nobody is listening to them. So, there would be no great cure to depression to our time spent with these people. Let them know theu are being heard, and that they are not alone. Let us end this curse!
