How to increase iPhone battery life by 15% with just a couple of commands!

The battery life of current Apple smartphones leaves a lot to be desired. Almost every owner of a gadget wants to extend the battery life at least a little bit, without losing important features.

iOS has long had an excellent power-saving mechanism built in, but it is only necessary to start using it in a not quite familiar way.

Let me remind you that when you turn on the yellow battery, background checking of mail is disabled, most applications stop updating data in the background, content loading is suspended (updates, synchronization, etc.), auto-lock time is reduced to 30 seconds, data exchange with iCloud is less frequent.

Such restrictions are most appropriate while you are working at your computer. Most messengers, mailer and programs with notifications are duplicated in the desktop OS as it is, and if you do not immediately respond to a message, it is duplicated on the iPhone in a few seconds.

It is while working at the computer that it will be appropriate to reduce the performance of the smartphone and disable some of its background processes. This will make the work process more comfortable and extend the battery life of the gadget.

How to set up automation to increase the battery life of your smartphone:

1. Download the Quick Commands app from the App Store.

2. Launch the utility and create a new automation for yourself in the Automation tab.

3. Set a convenient condition for triggering the automation.

If you work at the computer strictly at a certain time, you can set the Time of day automation. If you want the condition to be triggered in a certain place (office, cafe, house), set the Arrival action. You can also set other triggers, such as connecting to a specific Wi-Fi network, Bluetooth gadget, or touching an NFC tag.

4. Add an Enable Power Saving Mode action.

5. In the last step, disable the Ask before trigger toggle switch so that the automation triggers itself without confirmation.

6. To then return your smartphone to normal mode, reverse the automation with the Disable Power Saving Mode action.

If you want to configure more flexible scenarios, you can set several automations for different geo-positions, networks, or time intervals. The result will be an automatic activation of Power Saving mode when it's most appropriate for you.
