How to Make Butter Garlic Prawns at home?


 4 servings
  1. 25 Medium Sized Prawns
  2. 6-8 roughly chopped garlic cloves
  3. 1/2 teaspoon Olive oil
  4. 1/2 teaspoon butter
  5. as per taste Rock salt
  6. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  7. as required Juice of one lemon
  8. as required Fresh green onion/ parsley to garnish



  1. Take fresh prawns. Wash, clean and devein them. Pat dry with a kitchen towel. Keep aside.

  2. In a pan, add olive oil and butter. Keep the flame low. Add chopped garlic and sauté for a minute.

  3. Add rock salt and black pepper.

  4. Add deveined prawns. Sauté. Cover the pan with a lid for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Keep stirring in between.

  5. Remove the lid and add lemon juice. Give it a nice mix.

  6. Garnish it with chopped fresh green onion or parsley. Serve hot.
