Ingredients :- (Serving: 4)
Besan 200g
Ginger 1 inch
red chilly powder 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
salt as per taste
Tomato - 2 medium
Coriander leaves 1 teaspoon
Mustard Oil as required
Water as required
Panchforan ( cumin seed ,fennel seed ,fenugreek seed ,carrom seed ,black mustard seed ) 1/4 teaspoon
Bay leaf - 1 nos
Red chilly paste - 1teasp
Instructions
At first grease a plate with oil and keep aside
In a bowl add besan ,1/4 teaspoon of each powered masala and 2 cup of water ( as required ) and make a thin & smooth paste but make sure that there is no lumps inbatter.
Heat a pan ,add 4 teaspoon oil then add besan batter and sir continuously till mixture gets thick like halwa.
Spread the batter on greased plate and let it cool for few seconds then cut into burfy shape.
Once again heat the pan ,add sufficient oil and deep / sallow frying burfy.
For gravy.....put a pan on gas ,add 4 teaspoon oil heat the oil then addcumin seed red chilly bay leaf then add chopped tomatoes when tomatoes get rendered add all powered masala , saute well when masala cooked well add water ( as per your requirement ) .leave it for boil then off the gas and put all the burfy in gravy . Finally garnishd with coriander leaves
