A simple recipe for making homemade yogurt from milk is to make it in the oven:
Take a liter of milk and 50-70 grams of yogurt (fresh 20% sour cream will also do).
Boil the milk and cool it down.
Dilute yogurt or sour cream in 100 ml of milk and add the rest of the milk.
Pour into jars (if you like it sweeter, you can put 1 tbsp. jam on the bottom or dissolve 1 tbsp. sugar in the hot milk)
Preheat the oven to 50 degrees and turn the knob to minimum.
Wrap the jars in foil and place them in the oven.
Place a towel or oven mitt between the door of the oven so that there is a small gap. Otherwise, an increase in temperature inside the oven will result in another boil rather than a boil.
After 6-8 hours the product is ready. Allow the homemade yogurt to cool and put it in the fridge.
