How to raise a child to be a genius

How to raise a genius

Some researchers believe that certain traits of genius are present in every child. However, the wrong upbringing, education or lifestyle often hinder the development of genius in children. That's why it's important from the first days of your baby's life to help him discover his abilities and develop them as much as possible.

Instruction

Start developing your child from birth. Play him music of different genres, but not electronic, read as many good books as possible and surround him with bright developing toys. Despite the fact that babies in the first months do not understand words or any actions, they from the very first minutes absorb your emotions, responding to the mood, the timbre of your voice. All of this will lay the foundation for later knowledge.

Interact with your child as much as possible. This will allow you to get to know your baby's character better, to spot his leanings in time, to understand his train of thought, as well as explain things he does not understand, because children are extremely curious. It is important to answer your child's questions fully and openly, so that he/she can make good judgements about the world and relationships.

Open up as many new activities and knowledge as possible. Show it different kinds of sports and arts, musical genres, or talk about science. It may be that he would like to do something artistic and could discover a unique talent in a particular field.

Try not to limit your child to activities that are not harmful to him or others around him. For example, drawing on the walls may well be a prerequisite for the talent of an artist. Just direct his aptitudes in the right direction.

Spend as much time with your child as possible, despite the fact that, at times, it can be hard to do. Try to even watch cartoons together, so they can be discussed later and teach your baby to draw the right conclusions. At the same time, do not prevent him to independently learn about the world.

Tell your child that he's smart, loved and talented. Quite often genius is not developed from natural shyness, or lack of support from close people. And in fact shyness often accompanies genius. Of course, it is not recommended to praise a child with constant F's in the diary because of laziness. In this case, you can tell him not to pretend, because in fact he can achieve a lot, if he will try.

Develop originality in a child, because the genius is to come up with something new, different from the existing. To do this, it is very important not to interfere with your child's self-expression, of course, under your supervision.
