Growing a garden can nurture one's mind and soul in a very beautiful way. One doesn't need to be having a very rich or rare group of plants to grow a beautiful and fulfilling garden.
Plants are no less than Miracles
The plants are such a special organism that even one part of a plant can form a whole new plant. When a person sees that a plant is giving rise to new plants, seeing the baby plants being formed gives the feeling of a creator. One can create or propagate a plant into many of them, using many of it's parts like seeds, roots, stems, flowers, etc which can further grow into whole plants.
Plant propagation:
A plant can be propagated from the parts like the mother plant's stems, it's leaves, flowers, seeds and also from the fruits.
When a person propagates a plant and makes many of them, the sight of the tiny plants gives the feeling of creating new, important lives on this earth. Plants can add to a very beautiful and precious part to a home and one's life.
Different types of Propagation:
Water Propagation
Here the part to be propagated is put in water for it to form it's own roots. The water needs to be clean. After root formation, the tiny plant babies are formed. The roots formed, further helps the propagated plant baby to absorb it's nutrition.
Soil Propagation
Here, the part to be propagated is put directly to soil even before the roots are formed. A benefit here is that the process doesn't need to change the growth medium later on. The life process here starts in soil itself, it's main growth medium.
Air propagation or Air rooting and propagate forming
Here the part to be propagated is left in a clean area devoid of pollutants for root formation. It is usually seen in air plants. Also it is seen in the Leaves and stems of thick plants like the succulents where the roots can be formed directly in air and also tiny plant babies can be formed where they get the nutrition from the air.
The plants form a very important part of the world, starting from the air we breath, oxygen, food, shelter, clothing, medicines ,etc name anything and a plant has been doing it since forever ; It being a very important part of this world for all of it's organisms.
When one starts a garden, they get to experience this forever working miracle up close and all this can give a very beautiful meaning to one's life. 🌱🦋
