How to track down anyone online

When you are trying to find someone online, google is not only the game in town. In the last three years a handful of search engines offers better ways to pinpoint people by name, location, handle or places of employment. This is a one-stop people search, there are more better ways to track down a long lost friend, a former classmate or an ex girlfriend or boyfriend, former co worker/ colleague.

Here are the list of the biggest and effective search engine.

1.Search with PIPL (Deep Search): This is my favourite people search engine, it digs up information about the person google often misses. Pipl returns an impressive number of results for most people who uses their real names online, including the person website, Twitter handles, Facebook, email address, residence address. You can narrow your search by entering city, state/local government area. Check www.pipl.com

2. Search with WINK (Who is this person?):                                              The person you are looking for likely has a Yahoo or Gmail account, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and what a view. Instead of searching each site individually, enter their full name of screen name, plus other identifying informs like location, specialization to do a one-hit comprehensive search.  Visit www.wink.com

3. Search with GOOGLE:                 Okay, fine, you can't talk about finding people without mentioning the big G. For celebrities, you will get great result by just typing the names with double meaning, a few advanced google techniques can help. www.google.com

4.Intelius:                                                To access most of the information available through Intelius, you’ll be asked to pay a fee. The site offers everything from phone numbers to complete background checks and actually can have useful information. I have purchased information from Intelius in the past and it did lead me to exactly the person I was looking for. However, I know the price tag (often starting around $40) can be off-putting, especially if you’re only casually searching or if you need to find information on a long list of people.  www.intelius.com

5. Zaba Search:                                        I know many people who swear by Zaba Search when it comes to searching public records for free. I’ve had minimal luck on it myself, but if you’re having some difficulty, it may be worth a try. The reverse phone look on Zaba Search is particularly problematic — the site actually uses Intelius to look up phone numbers, which charges for the information. www.zabasearch.com

There are more than a few other options for searching for people out there. These five are just options I’ve actually used in the past. There are also a lot of specialized search tools that you can also use.
