Huawei has clarified the agenda for the global event scheduled for October 21. It will be held in Vienna, and some insiders believed that at the presentation Huawei will present the long-suffering Mate 50. Now, according to a source, Huawei itself has decided to put an end to the matter.
We can not expect any Mate 50 in October, and in general, no new smartphones will be - the company will present local versions of the nova 9 and nova 8i (that is, it will be variants of smartphones for the European market). Of course, don't expect any differences from the Chinese versions (except that HarmonyOS 2.0 will be replaced with EMUI 11), and don't expect Google services. Perhaps the company will compensate for the latter with price, but so far it is difficult to judge. Thus, Mate 50 smartphones, if they come out, will only come out next year.
Huawei nova 9, recall, are built on the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, equipped with screens with a frame rate of 120 Hz, quad-camera with 50 megapixel main sensor, 32-megapixel main cameras, 4000-4300 mAh battery capacity and 66-100 W charging support. The Nova 8i's features list includes a 64-megapixel camera, 4,300mAh battery, 66W charging, Snapdragon 662 SoC and EMUI 11.
