I often find this ironic that a machine asks human to prove their identity! Or maybe the machine is just lonely! Most of us if not all have encountered a captcha prompt. If you are interested its short for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart." Yes its a mouthful. Again, on earth is this a thing? Lets break it down for better understanding!

 

In essence, CAPTCHA is digital guardian that stands at the gates of the internet, ensuring that the traffic flowing through is indeed human.
