Jason Momoa contracted a coronavirus on the set of "Aquaman

Actor Jason Momoa contracted the coronavirus on the set of "Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom."

According to The Sun, Momoa, 42, is following a self-isolation regime after testing positive for the disease.

A source close to the production said:
It's a real headache for the producers, as a tight schedule will have to be frozen. Of course, employee safety is the most important thing; everyone gets tested regularly. There is hope that the case is still one, and it will be possible to continue working.

The first "Aquaman" was released in December 2018 and earned over a billion dollars at the box office. Jason Momoa first played the role of Aquaman two years earlier: in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in 2016, after returning to the role in "Justice League" in 2017.

Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 16, 2022.
