Latest! NASA Is Outspoken About the Sun Rising From the West

An upload on social media says that the Sun is doing something out of the ordinary, rising from the west. However, the United States Space Agency (US) or NASA has denied the contents of the post.

The post in Thai and English said the activity was due to a magnetic reversal. To support his claim, the post wrote that NASA supported the information.

"Earth will rotate in the opposite direction causing the Sun to emerge from the west side. Researchers believe that we are moving towards a magnetic field reversal that will mark the end of humanity and near the end of the world," the post reads.

However, NASA denied this. NASA's Associate Administrator for Communications, Bettina Inclan, said it and other organizations never made that prediction.

But he did confirm the existence of a magnetic reversal event. It did happen and a number of scientists did study it.

However, according to him, the event did not make the Earth rotate in the opposite direction, as well as the data from the Sun.

"The magnetic field reversal is indeed a real phenomenon that has happened several times in the past and scientists around the world are studying it, but the statement that this makes the Earth rotate in the opposite direction which causes the Sun to rise from the west is wrong," said Bettina.

But in this solar system there are indeed those who feel the sun appears from the west. Namely, Venus is rotating backwards.

Venus also rotates around the Sun which is not much different, namely 243 days and 225 days. This makes the Sun's appearance there only twice a year or once every 117 days.
